Understanding how our past experiences influence our current behaviours, feelings, and our sense of belonging in the world,  gives us the insight we need to make meaningful changes in the areas of our lives we want to improve. In therapy, we will work together to understand why you’re not feeling so well right now, and what we need to do  to get you where you want to be. Feelings of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, difficulty regulating your emotions, can feel like impossible problems to overcome and out of your control; but they are not. Feelings and problems are like messages to be deciphered and once you do, the feelings can change, you have new choices and perspectives.

As Sigmund Freud said, “out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength.”

I am a social worker and psychotherapist with 14 years of experience working at The Montreal Children’s Hospital in the Department of Child Psychiatry. Throughout my work I have been fortunate to receive extensive training in DBT (emotion regulation therapy) and psychodynamic therapy, through formal training programs, as well as years of direct work with specialized psychiatrists. From my experience and training I have developed advanced skills and capacity to help individuals work through serious mental health challenges, and families with significant relational problems.

I am empathic, a thinker, dedicated to help you figure out how to move forward.
