Dr. Damyan Edwards, PhD

Damyan Edwards is a clinical psychologist, founder, and the clinical director of D2 Psychology Clinic. He offers individual therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults suffering from numerous psychological conditions, including anxiety, OCD, peer relation problems, self-esteem, childhood trauma, emotion regulation, and family/work/school-life stressors. His approach is informed by third-wave therapies, including mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Damyan also specializes in psychological evaluations and psycho-educational assessments for a variety of presenting problems, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, childhood disorders (intellectual and learning disorders), and behavioral disorders (conduct and oppositional defiance).

 

Damyan adopts a client-centered and trauma-informed approach by helping the client feel empowered and supported while providing them with the tools to achieve their therapeutic goals. He provides clients with a safe, warm, and open space to help them identify unwanted patterns and pave the path to a life closer to their values, with a greater sense of meaning and positive fulfillment.
